Here is LIDO, the first Nomasei ballerina.
LIDO is named after Venice’s Lido, a mythic resort and long sand beach where Isadora Duncan used to dance at the beginning of last century.
« My life and my art were born from the sea. It was the contemplation of the waves when I was very young that gave me the first idea of dance. I tried to follow their movement and dance to their rhythm» wrote this natural dancer whose spontaneity and freedom of expression gave birth to the contemporary dance.
Inspired by the free spirit and body in motion of Isadora, LIDO is about dance, air, sea and specially freedom.
